How this blog was built

This blog is built with Astro. I picked it for a few reasons:

• Posts are kept as plain Markdown files — adding a new one is just creating a new .md file.
• The site is fully statically generated, so it loads very fast.
• No unnecessary JavaScript — just a few small scripts for things like the theme toggle.

The design was deliberately kept simple: generous whitespace, readable typography, and a color palette that supports both light and dark themes.
